GLITTER
Info: "Glitter" è stato finalmente pubblicato l'11 Settembre 2001,dopo ben quattro anni di lavorazione.
Già dal 1997 infatti Mariah era stata scelta come protagonista di Glitter (un tempo All That Glitters),storia di una giovane cantante che cerca di sfondare nella New York degli anni '80. Dopo moltissimi rimandi le riprese di Glitter sono cominciate e sono durate due 4 mesi, dal Luglio all'Ottobre del 2000.
A film ormai completato Mariah si è chiusa in sala di incisione per lavorare a questo album,Glitter,che nasce appunto come colonna sonora dell'omonimo film.
Glitter è il primo (e unico) album pubblicato con la Virgin Records,con la quale Mariah aveva firmato(e poi disdetto)un contratto miliardario.
